Kandiyohi Area Transit buses run throughout Kandiyohi County and in the City of Willmar.

When same day service is available, the fare will be an additional $.75 each way.

Kandiyohi County:
Dial-A-Ride (48-hour notice)
0-10 miles - $1.25 each way
11-20 miles - $2.50 each way
21-30 miles - $3.75 each way
31-40 miles - $5.00 each way

• When same day service is available, the fare will be an additional $.75 each way.
• Aides for passengers needing assistance are not charged a fare.
• Children age 4 and under ride free and must be accompanied by an adult.
• Senior Companions registered with the KAT office, ride free.
• Any agency or business scheduling group rides, all passengers pay full fare.

Kandiyohi Area Transit offers the option of paying by cash for fares (use exact change), tokens or punch passes. Punch Passes are available at Cash Wise Foods Service Counter, Cub Foods Service Counter, Wal-Mart Service Counter, Green Lake Mall in Spicer (Cash Wise Pharmacy) and the KAT office. Tokens are available only at the KAT office.
